2. Information covered by this policy
Depending on how you contact us, we may process your name, telephone number, WhatsApp identifier, email address, country or market, preferred Chinese city, intended business activity, enquiry text and correspondence history. If you use a Meta instant form, we receive only the fields you choose to submit through that form.
3. How the website enquiry works
The public assessment form does not post its contents to a Stellaris Star server or database. It assembles your entries locally in your browser and opens a pre-filled WhatsApp conversation. Your information is transmitted only if you then send the message through WhatsApp. Direct email and WhatsApp messages may remain in the relevant provider account and on authorised business devices while we respond.
4. Why we use information
We use enquiry information to respond, understand the requested service, conduct an initial eligibility or scope assessment, prepare a proposal, arrange meetings, prevent abuse, keep necessary business records and comply with legal obligations. Depending on the context, processing is based on your request or consent, steps requested before a contract, performance of an agreed service, and applicable legal obligations.
5. Meta lead forms and social platforms
If you submit an enquiry through a Facebook or Instagram instant form, Meta processes information under its own terms and privacy policy before making the submitted fields available to the Page operator. Stellaris Star uses that information only to respond and assess the requested service. You can review Meta's Privacy Policy. This website currently does not use Meta Pixel, Google Analytics, advertising retargeting or a third-party hosted web form. If that changes, this policy and any required consent controls will be updated before activation.
6. Local preferences and hosting
The website stores only your language and market preference in your browser's local storage so that it can show the relevant version. This is functional storage rather than advertising tracking. The public website is hosted through GitHub Pages; GitHub may process technical request data such as IP address, browser information and server logs under GitHub's privacy statement.
7. Sharing and international access
We do not sell personal information. Information may be accessible to authorised personnel and, only where necessary for the requested work, to identified registration, accounting, tax, translation, inspection, logistics, technology or other professional providers. WhatsApp, Meta, email and hosting services may process data in countries outside your own. Where additional consent or safeguards are legally required for a specific transfer, they will be addressed before the transfer.
8. Retention
We do not maintain a separate website customer database. If an enquiry does not become an engagement, we aim to delete identifiable enquiry correspondence from active company-controlled inboxes and devices within 90 days after the last substantive contact. A record may be kept longer where needed for an active contract, accounting, legal compliance, security, fraud prevention or a dispute. Copies controlled by WhatsApp, Meta, email or hosting providers follow those providers' retention and backup practices.
9. Sensitive information
Do not send passports, identity cards, bank statements, payment-card details, financial-account credentials, medical information or source-of-funds documents through the public form or an advertising lead form. If an engagement genuinely requires identity or compliance documents, the responsible provider, purpose and transfer method will be identified separately.
10. Your choices and rights
You may ask whether we hold your enquiry information and request access, correction, deletion, withdrawal of consent or restriction, subject to applicable law and necessary legal records. Contact duke@stesstar.com. We may need reasonable information to verify the requester before acting.
11. Security, children and changes
We use reasonable access controls and minimise the information requested, but no internet or messaging service is completely secure. Our services are intended for adults acting for a business and are not directed to children. Material changes will be published here with a revised effective date.
